The Trickle - Feb. 3 Jealousy

I find myself in the middle of a blog war. My nemesis, Mork, informed me that I was jealous that he gets more comments on his blogs than I do. I've also been informed that Asymetric is not browbeaten at all and does not comment on Mork's blogs simply because Mork is his boss. Fine. I'm jealous. People like Mork's blog better. And, I guess I'm not in shape to be an NFL quarterback. I'll show that Paulus (wasn't he a quarterback at Notre Dame?). I'm heading to the open tryouts. When they see what I can do without working out, they'll sign me and get me in the weight room right away.

Thanks and ouch

A sincere thanks from my family to the many people who have expressed their concerns and well-wishes as my wife starts her recovery from her knee injury. The bad news is official - torn ACL and MCL.

Gumbo

You know, I didn't think I like gumbo. I'm not sure why. I still don't think I like jambalaya. Not sure why. At any rate, the gentleman who has the food related blog on this site made gumbo. I got a bowl. It was magnificent.
