The Trickle (first of 09) Jan. 7

Spell-check madness

(The suggestions inside brackets were made by a spell-checker on a second program.)

I had recently returned from my trip to Fatty (Fayettville (sic)). I was passing through Vintage (Venango [Venation]) County, on my way to Tonalities (Tionesta [Stationer]) when I saw something interesting. Chatty Morsel (Cathy Moore) was uninjured after a one-pedestrian crash. Her boots had lost truncation (traction) on the slippery sidewalk and she fell. She was taken to Whig (WGH) as a precaution which seemed like a long way, since there are at least two hospitals much closer). Community Relations Director Karen Comb (Coombs) said she could not comment on Morsel's condition, citing HIPPO (HIPPA) law regulations. I talked with some dusting presumably (daunting passersby), including Armload Schwarzenegger, who had been seated at a local restaurant known as Tao and Checkers (Taco and Cheesecake). Armload said he called the Mediocre hostile (Medicare hotline) in Embroiled (Edinboro) immediately upon witnessing the crash. He hoped he could sign up. He then reminisced about a day not so long ago when he was walking near the Cowering (Conewango [Conestoga]) Creek in Wren (Warren) on his way to Boil (BiLo). He suffered a similar fall. At the time, he was helped by a presumably whose name he recalled as Ms. Shrewdly (Shawley [Shawled]). Shrewdly called the Cowering Township police and Officer Minesweeper (Mineweaser [Mineworkers]) responded and helped get Armload back on his feet. Also responding was County Commissioner John Elongate (Eggleston [Milestone]). Now, Armload maintains an intern wishbone (Internet Website) about truncation and a trip from Tonalities to Wren, including the Cowering, Boil, and Whig. His other online endeavors include a Mediocre Wishbone, a Wishbone about HIPPO, and a Wobbling (Weblog) about the life of Chatty Morsel and her frequent visits to Tao and Checkers. In each, Armload posts a thank you to co-workers Kill Flowchart (Kelli (sic) Farnsworth [Newsworthy]) and Shrilly Bolstering (Shirley Bergston).
