However, I do think it's about time I start looking at my options when it comes to taking a vacation here in the near future. While researching the forecast for the next several days (and giving thanks that the Polar Bear Plunge wasn't today) I came across a wicked cool story about the World's 20 Most Amazing Dams. I need to reiterate: It's wicked cool. Just check it out. World's 20 Most Amazing Dams Ok, so now that I've been vindicated, scroll back to #14, Luzzone Dam in Blenio, Switzerland. Is that cool or what? I'm thinking that this may be my next adventure gig. As a long-time climber, I've climbed everything from onto my bed to into my car. I just haven't gotten to climb anything substantial is all... However, given my recent feats of man-tastic-ness in the Polar Bear Plunge, I think I can handle a little bit of climbing. Sure, it's a 540-foot-high wall that is nearly 100% vertical, but hey, why not just go for broke?
