Random blog proven to kill boredom

December 11, 2011 - Tom Schultz
My hair is out of control. It grows too fast for comfort, meaning I must get a haircut way too often.

This, however, brings me to an interesting point. Now that I have all but settled into my new digs, i.e. Pennsylvania, I must admit I still do not have my own 'place' for getting a haircut.

This is an important part of the comfort process. Everyone has their own place they go to once every few weeks to get a trim. I had one in New York. In fact, I had been going to her for probably 12 years. You get used to certain aspects of your life.

That was one of them.

Sure I have gotten my hair cut a few times since moving here, but I don't think I found 'the one.' Yes, it sounds absurd, but it's true. It's one of those things that should not be taken lightly. And I don't.

What hampers this topic is that I primarily work days, giving me little or no time to sit down for a cut. Nor does it help me find someone to get that new connection. I mean, you need to find someone who is willing to put up with the most mundane banter all day long. That is a job worth tipping for.

So at the moment, I have some ridiculously long hair right now. I hate that feeling, don't you? I also hate how I look when my hair gets to this point.

So if you see me out and about in Warren, and you notice my hair is covered up, keep this in mind: It's cold out.
