Scanned spam?

At work, the scanner (the thing that lets interested folk listen to all the radio frequencies to find out what's going on) sits on my desk. This is not my choice. Sometimes, the words coming from it get through loud and clear. Once I heard my address on the scanner related to an emergency services call. I totally panicked. I had placed a call to my house before I heard that the call was for the same address, but in a different municipality. Other calls I don't hear as well. Recently I heard a "dialogue" on the radio that I swear went... "Marco."  "Polo." I have to think that would be the toughest game of Marco Polo ever.
