The Trickle - Wii

March 18, 2009 - Brian Ferry
Mork has a strange contraption of which I've never heard. I have a Wii - a contraption I never really anticipated having. It works so far. I use it. My son uses it quite a bit. I get a little motion sick from the racing game. The Wii Sports disk is cool. Like they say, it gets you moving. It may not be much, but it's something. In fact, you can take it as seriously as you like. My baseball past crept up on me as I was playing the other day. The pitching is pretty simplistic - push a button or two, flick the wrist. I was never a real pitcher, so I just did what was necessary. On the batting side, however, I started with my hands back, then took nice full swings. I'm afraid I injured my shoulder. This is not good. The volleyball has a much higher priority than Wii. I changed my swing. It's now a flip of the wrist - no more shoulder injuries there. Since the switch, I started hitting more home runs, too.
