Hickory Street Bridge
Dear Editor,
Being born in Warren and staying informed of what my hometown is doing, I would suggest that the renaming of the Hickory Street Bridge might include all sides of the name issue.
There is a Veterans Memorial Statue on site. Renaming the bridge “The Hickory Street Veterans Memorial Bridge” could be a respectful compromise giving everyone recognition.
I remember being told by my mother that her dad worked on the bridge back in the ’30s and ’40s.
