Ronald E. Darling, 86, of Youngsville, passed away on Monday July 15, 2019 at UPMC Hamot in Erie after a short illness.

He then went on to work at Sylvania in the plastic mold Dept., retiring from there in 1993. Ron is survived by his loving wife, Betty (Luther) Darling, whom he married in 1957 in Grand Valley, a daughter Cindy (Joe) Saber of Irvine, his siblings, Carolyn (Elmer) Hallberg of Ellery Center, NY, William (Patty) Darling of Youngsville, and Donald Darling of Clarendon, his grandchildren, Chad (Michelle) Johnson, Katie (Chris) Murphy and Rickel (Scott) Stearns, all of Youngsville, his 6 great-grandchildren, Cole, Paiden, Collin, Page, Kaeli, and Sawyer and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by a son Rick Darling in 2005, a sister Myrna Haight and a brother Wayne Darling.
