Isabel Vescio

Isabel M. Vescio, 96, of Warren, PA, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2019, at Cambridge Warren. She was born May 29, 1923 in Warren, PA and was the daughter of Andrew and Amelia Piccirillo Randinelli. She was raised in Irvine, PA., and has resided in Warren since October 1958 and wintered in Florida since 1998. Isabel was a 1941 graduate of Warren High School and a 1947 graduate of W.C.A. Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed as a registered nurse with Warren General Hospital for 25 years, retiring in 1985. She had also worked for 7 years at the Warren State Hospital and formerly with W.C.A. Hospital. She was a member of Holy Redeemer R.C. Church, served on the Warren Salvation Army and Warren American Red Cross board of directors. Isabel was a former member of Jackson Valley Country Club and was the first and only honorary member of Blueberry Golf Club. She enjoyed playing cards, rummy, and Bingo.

She is survived by 3 Brothers – John Randinelli and wife, Liz of Youngsville, PA., Ben Randinelli and wife, Ruth of Pittsfield, PA., and Andrew Randinelli and wife, Pat of Schnecksville, PA., and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her longtime friend and side kick, Curt Sorensen.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis J. Vescio whom she married July 10, 1948 in Irvine, PA, and who died July 5, 2003, and 1 Sister – Angeline Hoffman.

Friends may call at Holy Redeemer R.C. Church, 11 Russell Street, Warren, PA, on Thursday, June27, 2019, where a visitation will be held in the Gathering Space from 9am until 10am, at which time a Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted by Fr. James Gutting, Pastor, officiating. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum of the Ascension in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery.
