Margaret Froman

She was born May 24, 1926 in Warren, PA, a daughter to the late Ralph N. “Jim” and Margaret M. (Kimble) Summerton. After high school, Peg received degrees from both Bucknell University and Clarion University. She was a teacher and librarian at Tidioute Schools for 22 years, retiring in 1988. Peg was a member of the Tidioute United Methodist Church, the Mountain Grange 1152 and the Tidioute VFW Auxiliary.

Peg is survived by 3 daughters, Margaret A. “Meg” Froman of Tidioute, PA, Kathryn L. (William) Sizemore of Madison, OH and Rebecca L. (Richard) Sovich of Wexford, PA; her grandchildren, Rebetha J. (Jorge) Navarro of Madison,OH and Erick R. Sovich of Wexford, PA; 7 greatgrandchildren, Camille Sizemore, Brandon, Demitry, Haliegh, Vicente, Giovani and Vanessa Navarro; a niece, Susan C. Brown and 2 nephews, David F. Brown and Henry O. Brown.

In addition to her parents, Peg was preceded in death by her brother, Oliver G. Summerton, a sister, Genevieve A. (Lorence) Brown, and a nephew, Stephen R. Brown.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, August 31, at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 North Main Street, Youngsville, PA 16371, from Noon 2:00PM at which time a funeral service will be held there with Lay Pastor, Dennis Ledebur, of the Tidioute Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will take place in the Tidioute Cemetery.
