Garland Dale Haines Jr., 52, of Youngsville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at his home.
He was born September 26, 1965 in Warren, PA a son to the late Garland D. and Sherry (Wagner) Haines Sr. Dale was employed at Segal and Son Inc. and the Peppermill Restaurant all his life until his health wouldn’t allow him any longer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseshoes, racing, camping, drawing and watching demolition derbies. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Dale is survived by his children, Dale Haines and his companion, Roxie, of Sugar Grove, Makia Haines of Warren and Cody Haines of Pittsburgh; a brother, Andrew (Peggy) Haines; a sister, Lawanda Haines and her companion, Roger James; his grandchildren, Garland D. Haines IV, Holdyn J. Whitmire, Brantley D. Haines, Dehklund X. Conklin, Caroleigh M. Haines, Teagan Q. Haines and Adalai R. Haines; several nieces and nephews and his dog and companion, Sweet Pea.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol (Klages) Haines on February 20, 2009.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at 2:00pm at his son, Dale Haines’, home, 274 Catlin Hill Road, Sugar Grove, PA 16350. Food and beverages will be provided. The family encourages family and friends to stop by to remember Dale and talk about the good times.
