Norma Johnson Olson Haight, 72, of Pittsfield, passed away Thursday April 12, 2018 at the Warren General Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born October 30, 1945 in Jamestown, N.Y., a daughter to the late Ray and Mary Higley Johnson. She had worked at Loranger for many years and also at Servo Servco Cleaning in Bradford as a supervisor. She was a member of the Saron Lutheran Church where she had taught Bible and Sunday school.
She is survived by her sweetie of 25 years Darryl Jenkins, 2 sons, Robert (Karen) Olson and Ronald “Ivan” Olson, both of Youngsville, a daughter Christine (Rick) Cox of Romney, W.V., her grandchildren: Taylor Whitacre and Allen Whitacre, both of Winchester, VA, Justin Giardini and his companion Samantha of Chiefland, Fla. Nathaniel (Cristina) Williams of Wrightsville, Eric Williams of Pittsfield, Erin Cox of Baltimore, MD, Jodi Cox and her companion Bobby of Stephens City, VA, her great grandchildren, Emma Cox, Clair Williams, Liam Giardini, Minnesota Hoover, and 2 on the way, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, and her siblings, John Johnson, Lorrie Johnson, Robert Johnson, Dan Johnson and Joyce Irwin.
Friends will be received on Monday from 47 p.mm at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Youngsville. A funeral service will be held there on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Nancy Schwanke, pastor of the Inner Faith Chapel in Warren, officiating. Burial will be in the Youngsville Cemetery.
