Clinton Weirich

Clinton Wayne Weirich, II age 64, formerly of Warren, PA, passed away on Friday March 2nd at home in Slippery Rock, PA.

He was born May 3rd, 1953 to the late Robert W. Weirich and Fay S. Weirich of Warren, PA. Clinton was a 1971 graduate of Warren Area High School. Following graduation, Clinton attended Electronics Institute of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA where he earned an Associate in Specialized Technology degree in October, 1973. Clinton went to work at Digital Equipment Corporation in Maynard, MA, and then later in Pittsburgh, PA. After leaving Digital Clinton moved to Ohio and went to work for First Energy at the Perry Nuclear Power Plant in Perry, OH working in Cyber Security. While there he continued his education and received a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Kensington University Electronics Institute on August 14, 1992. Clinton left First Energy and took a position with Westinghouse also in Cyber Security. At that time, he received a Certificate of Achievement in Essentials of IS Security from Villanova University in March, 2007.

Clinton had many hobbies, including boating on Kinzua Lake, hunting, and taking trips with friends on motorcycles. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends especially on his houseboat during the summer months.

Clinton is survived by his son: Clinton W. Weirich, III of the home, daughter Julia A. Weirich and Candace L. Weirich, mother of his children; two sisters: Linda W. Gallagher of Warren, PA and Janice W. Kuhn and husband Richard of Charlotte, NC; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Dan R. Weirich and Jack L. Weirich.

Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA, on Thursday, March 8, 2018, from 11:00 A.M. until 12Noon at which time a funeral service will be held with Rev.
