William F. Brown, 96, of Tidioute, PA passed away early Sunday morning, December 24, 2017 at Titusville Hospital.
He was born April 13, 1921 in Commodore, PA to the late William and Louise (Bass) Brown. William served in the United States Army during the WWII and the Korean War. He worked as a Gauge Calibrator at the National Forge, retiring in 1983. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. William was a life member of the Tidioute VFW Post 8803 where he served in the Honor Guard Firing Squad and loved spending time with his family.
William is survived by his loving wife, Norene “Tootie” Konkle Brown whom he married September 16, 1944 in Ozark, Alabama; his sons, Richard (Cheryl) Brown and William (Susan) Brown; his grandsons, Nathan (June) Brown, Ty (Tracey) Brown and Chase Brown and his companion, Jacinta Reese; his great-grandchildren, William Baker, Christian and Jared Camp, Norene Brown, Richard Brown, Connor Brown and Carley Brown; a great-great-granddaughter, Rayleigh Baker; his nephew, Kevin (Michelle) Allen and a great-nephew, Chad Allen.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Marquerite (Claude) Allen and a great-granddaughter, Audrey Brown.
No services are to be held at this time.
