Caroline Gourley

Caroline Renee Gourley, 42, of 25 Madison Avenue, Warren, PA, and formerly of Sugar Grove passed Satur-day, March 4, 2017 at her residence. Born in Warren, PA, on October 30, 1974, she was the daughter of Patti (Clark) Gourley of Sugar Grove and Gary A. Gourley of Sugar Grove.

Caroline grew up on the family farm in Sugar Grove and graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1992. She was affiliated with the methodist church and had attended various churches. She was active in Steer 4-H, volleyball, em-broidery and was involved in mission work through teach-ing embroidery to the wom-en at the Warren County Jail. She loved going to garage sales and “speeding” on her scooter. She had not worked for many years due to numerous medical issues; however, she was formerly employed as a nanny, and had worked at Pizza Hut and McDonalds in Corry, Corry Manor as a Nurses Aid and BEI in North Warren.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a son, Lo-gan Adam Crawford of Jamestown, NY; a sister, Connie (Clarence) Gourley and children, Kamerin and Taite Gourley of Cleveland, OH; a brother, Gregory (Brandi) Gourley and chil-dren, Tyler, Nicholas, Sa-mantha and Cassandra Gour-ley of Sugar Grove, PA; a brother, Dean (Cindy) and children, Autumn, Marissa and Thayne Gourley of Sugar Grove, PA; a brother, Andrew (Jessica) Gourley and children, Megan, Dylan, Nora, and Drew Gourley of Corry, PA a sister, Bridgette Gourley of Sugar Grove; and Caroline’s fiancee, Theodore Knisley of Warren; paternal grandfather, James Gourley of Sugar Grove; maternal grandmother, Jeane Clark of Sugar Grove and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Viola Gourley and maternal grand-father, Everett Clark; an aunt, Anne Gourley, a cousin, Jamie Woodburn Retterer, and an uncle, Willi-am Gourley.

Friends are invited to call Tuesday from 5 – 8 pm. at the Sugar Grove Branch of McKinney Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Inc., 117 Main Street and also on Wednesday from 10 -11 am. at the United Methodist Church at the Y in Sugar Grove where a funeral service will follow at 11 am, Wednesday with Rev. Sheila Auer officiating. The family suggests those wishing to place a memorial may do so in care of Patti Gourley to help defray funeral expenses.
