Ronald B. Arzner Sr.

Ronald B. “Bub” Arzner, Sr., 80, of Pleasant Twp., Warren, PA., died Sunday evening, February 19, 2017 at his residence with his family at his side. He was born at Warren, PA., to the late Burton F. and Edna Swavey Arzner.

Ron was a Warren area resident most of his entire life. He was employed as a salesman and in management with the former Stuart Meyers Inc. for over 30 years and retired in 2002, from Warren County School District after 13 years employment. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. Ron’s greatest love in his life was his wife and family. He was a great hunting and fishing enthusiast whom taught himself to hunt and fish and passed this love on to his sons, daughters and grandchildren. Ron enjoyed telling a good joke and was telling them right up to the end of his life.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ann Liberty Arzner whom he married February 16, 1955 in Frewsburg, N.Y., 5 Children – Ronald Arzner, Jr. and wife, Lisa, Scott W. Arzner and wife, Suzi all of Warren, PA., Laurie Becker and husband, Clint of Frederick, MD., Kimberlee Arzner Shine of Warren, PA., Julieann Hasler and husband, Brad of Westfield, IN., 1 Sister – Mary Bearce of Erie, PA., 12 Grandchildren – Bradley and Luke Arzner, Jamie and Spencer Becker, Maranna Hakes, Maccoy Shine, Maguire and Malone Arzner, Liberty, Lincoln, Alayna and Corbin Hasler, 2 Great Grandchildren – Jaylen Arzner, Reilly Font, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Ronald Arzner, III and his sister, Joan Darr. A private funeral service will be conducted at the convenience of the family at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. J. Maier, Pastor, officiating.
