Mrs. Ira Jean Scandreth Retterer, 78, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Carolinas Healthcare System NorthEast in Concord.

A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 pm Saturday, March 19, 2016, at Praise Fellowship in Russell, PA.

Mrs. Retterer was born March 2, 1938. She was thedaughter of the late Edward E. Scandreth and Cora Little Scandreth. She worked as a residential advisor.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Retterer.

Mrs. Retterer is survived by two daughters, Mitzi Carlson and husband Ernie of Harrisburg, and Tammy Turner and husband Scott of Charlotte; son, Daniel Lindenmuth and wife Sherrie of Indian Trail; nine grandchildren; fifteen greatgrandchildren; and her special fur baby, Toby.
