Four guilty pleas and four charges withdrawn at preliminary hearings

Four guilty pleas were entered and charges were withdrawn against four others during preliminary hearings held on Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.

The following defendants pleaded guilty:

¯ Philip W. Anthony, Titusville, to conspiracy (theft by unlawful taking). Charges of theft by unlawful taking, conspiracy (theft by unlawful taking) and theft by deception – false impression were withdrawn.

¯ Tarin Gee, Marienville, to possession of drug paraphernalia. A count of marijuana – small amount personal use was withdrawn.

¯ Nick S. Schmader, Youngsville, to simple assault – mutual consent fight. Charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment – course of conduct with no legitimate purpose and criminal trespass/simple trespasser.

¯ Adam L. Smith, Bear Lake, to simple assault – mutual consent fight. Charges of simple assault and harassment were withdrawn.

Charges were withdrawn against the following:

¯ Stephen W. Barth, Sheffield. Barth had been charged with two counts of simple assault. A count of harassment – subject other to physical contact was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

¯ Zakhary James-Zerbe Damron, Warren. Damron had been charged with unlawful restraint/serious bodily injury and simple assault. A count of harassment was withdrawn.

¯ Katherine M. Thompson, Girard. Thompson had been charged with two counts of simple assault. A count of harassment was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

¯ Jill L. Zimmerman, Russell. Zimmerman had been charged with simple assault. A count of harassment was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.
