Where were you when Apollo 11 landed on moon?

There are only a couple of events per generation that most people can remember exactly where they were and what they were doing when events unfolded.

Pearl Harbor.

JFK’s assassination.

For my generation, it was September 11, 2001.

The 50th anniversary of another such event is coming up — Apollo 11 landing on the moon.

Famous phrases including “Houston, Tranquility Base here, the Eagle has landed,” and “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.”

What do you remember? Where were you? What were you doing?

We want to hear those stories.
