Early Thursday, two people broke the front window at Sheffield Uni-Mart (Pit Stop), went inside, and left with items valued in the thousands of dollars.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, two people who hid their identities during the crime broke into the store at about 3 a.m.

In images released by police, the burglars have lights on their heads, one is wearing a backpack, and they have at least one crowbar with them.

They left with items valued at an estimated $5,000 to $7,000, police said.

The two “may have fled on Elk Street,” police said. Police do not have any information about what kind of vehicle, if any, the burglars may have used to get away.
