Brokenstraw Twp.

Crash. Pennsylvania State Police at the Warren barracks report there were no injuries in a two-vehicle crash on March 7 at about 7:17 a.m. on Route 6 west of Thatcher Lane. Devon R. Moore, 22, of Corry was traveling east on Route 6 in a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado when he stopped behind a vehicle turning left. Patrick M. Greer, 50, of Corry was traveling behind Moore in a 2008 Ford Escape. Greer attempted to stop but rear-ended Moore. Greer’s vehicle was towed from the scene by Leroy’s Towing. Police charged Greer with failure to drive at a safe speed.

Columbus Twp.

Crash. Pennsylvania State Police at the Corry barracks report there were no injuries in a two-vehicle crash on March 7 at about 8:13 a.m. on Route 6 about 98 feet east of Whites Corners Road. Terrie L. Covert, 36, of Ridgway was traveling west on Route 6 in a 2007 Mitsubishi Endeavor when she failed to negotiate a right curve, lost traction and traveled into oncoming traffic. Covert’s vehicle struck the side of a 2011 Bluebird International Vision driven by David N. Lewis, 69, of Columbus. Police report no injuries but Lewis was transported by Corry Ambulance to Corry Memorial Hospital. Both vehicles were towed from the scene by Leroy’s Towing and Dyke’s Towing. Police charged Covert with failure to drive at a safe speed.

Farmington Twp.

Crash. Pennsylvania State Police at the Warren barracks report one possible injury following a two-vehicle crash on March 7 at about 9:33 a.m. in the area of 6452 Jackson Run Road. Carla J. Cameron, 47, of Celoron, N.Y. was traveling west in a 2010 Chrysler Sebring on Jackson Run Road when a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Persephanie A. Harkins, 20, of Pittsfield entered the roadway from a parking lot. Police report Harkins attempted to stop at the end of the parking lot. Cameron swerved to avoid a collision, lost control and slid backwards into a ditch. Cameron was medically cleared at the scene and declined further medical attention. Police charged Harkins with vehicle entering or crossing roadway. Police were assisted at the scene by Bob’s Garage.

Youngsville

Driving under the influence. Youngsville police report Somia Tarr, of Warren was charged with driving under the influence on Feb. 23 at approximately 12:30 a.m. Tarr was stopped for several summary traffic violations and was found to be impaired under the influence of alcohol and controlled substances. Charges were filed through district court.
