Wednesday preliminary hearings

Five defendants entered guilty pleas, charges were withdrawn against two others and one was held for court during preliminary hearings held on Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.

The following defendants pleaded guilty:

¯ Jason K. Byrne, Youngsville, to possession of drug paraphernalia. A count of depositing waste on highway was withdrawn.

¯ Keith D. Dubenko, Garden City, Mi., to possession of drug paraphernalia. A count of possession with intent to deliver was not prosecuted.

¯ Mark A. Nuhfer, Youngsville, to possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges including two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana were withdrawn.

¯ Jason T. Thomas, Warren, to theft by unlawful taking and possession of drug paraphernalia. A count of possession of a controlled substance was withdrawn.

¯ Muriel B. Whipple, Kane, to possession of a controlled substance and possesion of drug paraphernalia. Charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana were withdrawn.

Charges were withdrawn against the following:

¯ Jonilee Czech, Columbus. A count of simple assault was withdrawn while a count of harassment was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

¯ Abigail L. Vancise, Warren. A count of marijuana – small amount personal use was withdrawn while a count of disorderly conduct was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

Jeffrey A. Graham, Youngsville, was held for court at two dockets. He has been charged at one with three counts each of burglary – overnight accommodation, no person present, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and loitering and prowling at night time as well as a single count of criminal trespass – enter structure. At a second docket he faces charges of burglary – overnight accommodation, no person present, criminal trespass – enter structure, resisting arrest and criminal mischief – tamper with property.
