Two charges withdrawn and three plead guilty at court hearings
Three defendants pleaded guilty, charges were withdrawn against two and one was held for court during preliminary hearings on Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.
The following defendants pleaded not guilty:
¯ Erica G. Johnson, Erie, to theft by unlawful taking. Charges of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property were not prosecuted.
¯ Rodney W. Rowland, Warren, to theft by unlawful taking. A count of theft by unlawful taking was withdrawn.
¯ Courtney M. Sliter, Pittsfield, to disregard traffic lane, exceed max speed limit established by 20 mph and disorderly conduct. Charges of false report – falsely incriminate another, fail to keep right and careless driving were withdrawn.
Charges were withdrawn against the following:
¯ John R. Frontera, Columbus. Frontera had been charged with simple assault and harassment. A count of disorderly conduct was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.
¯ Morgan A.I. Rounds, Titusville. Rounds had been charged with obstructing the administration of law/other governmental function, resisting arrest and loitering and prowling at night time. A count of disorderly conduct was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.
Kevin T. Youngquist, Warren, was held for court on charges of harassment – communicating repeatedly and inconvenient hours and harassment – communication repeatedly in another manner. Charges of harassment – communicating repeatedly and inconvenient times and harassment – communication repeatedly in another manner were dismissed.
