Special office hours for active-duty military antlerless deer licences

Warren County Treasurer Dennis Munksgard will continue the annual tradition of opening his office on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018, to sell antlerless deer hunting licenses to qualified residents serving on active duty in U.S. Armed Forces, or within 60 days from honorable discharge.

This traditional honor is set for 1 to 2 p.m. that day.

The following criteria must be met:

— Be a resident of Pennsylvania;

— Be on active and full-time duty in the United States Armed Forces, or be within 60 days from honorable discharge;

— Be assigned to a facility outside Commonwealth of PA;

— Be on temporary leave in Commonwealth of PA.

To purchase a license, enter the Warren County Courthouse via the Fifth Ave. entrance; proceed up stairs and straight down hallway to Treasurer’s Office on left All offices are marked by signs over each door.

“I am pleased to continue the long Warren County tradition of opening the Warren County treasurer’s office to provide antlerless hunting licenses to our military personnel,” said Munksgard. “I consider this as another way of saying ‘thank you’ for your service As long as I am county treasurer, I will continue this tradition.”
