Crash. According to Warren-based state police, on Sept. 28 at approximately 4:25, a 17-year-old male, driving a 1999 Ford F350 was attempting to pass a Kubota tractor while traveling westbound on old Route 77. Dale G. Forbes, 75, of Spring Creek, was traveling east on Route 77 in a 2007 Ford Taurus, when he came over the crest of a hill and attempted to brake to avoid hitting the juvenile when he lost control of his vehicle and traveled north across the roadway, striking the tractor. No injuries were reported and the juvenile was charged with driving a vehicle without official certificate of inspection.
