19 year old Corry man pleads guilty to sexual contact with a minor

A Corry man has pled guilty to having sexual contact with a 14-year-old female.

Jacob Almon Foster, 19, was charged in May by Pennsylvania State Police with allegations of sexual contact on multiple occasions with the juvenile. He entered the plea on Thursday in Warren County court.

His plea was to felony counts of statutory sexual assault – four to eight years older and corruption of minors – defendant age 18 or above.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, the juvenile’s stepmother contacted state police after finding messages between Foster and the victim which indicated that the two had engaged in sexual contact.

During an interview with the victim, she described five separate incidents of sexual contact that had occurred between herself and Foster.

Foster told police during an interview that he “had begun a sexual relationship” with the juvenile “prior to him moving into her house” around March or April of this year.

He said he moved into her home “with the consent of the victim’s parents after quitting school” and would contact the juvenile “very late at night” via social media to request “some type of sexual contact” from her.

Foster further told police that he originally met the juvenile through a friendship with her older siblings and that “he believed (she) was 15 years old, but when pressed agreed he knew she was 14 years old.”

He told police that “he began giving her cigarettes and would get hugs and kisses from her, but believed ‘I wanted to get more from her.'”

Foster allegedly told police “he knew the sexual contact with (the victim) was illegal, but continued” to engage in it.

When asked by police why he continued to engage in sexual contact with the victim, knowing that it was illegal, he said, “I am a sex addict.”

In exchange for the plea, charges including two counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, three counts of unlawful contact or communication with a minor, two counts of statutory sexual assault – four to eight years older, two counts of corruption of minors – defendant age 18 or above, three counts of corruption of minors, criminal attempt – rape forcible compulsion, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse – person less than 16 years old and three counts of sale of tobacco were not prosecuted.
