Visitors Bureau will host Planner’s Party

The Warren County Visitors Bureau will be hosting an “Event Planner’s Party” on Thursday, March 29 at 6:00 p.m. at the Hampton Inn.

The party will allow members and hosts of non-profit events to network, share event information, and establish dates for their events.

“We want to help these smaller, non-profit events out in any way possible, and we feel this is a great way to do it,” said WCVB Executive Director Dave Sherman. “We are really excited about this event.”

The party will also give events a chance to go home with some extra funding.

“We have up to $5,000 to be divided amongst events based on a blind draw,” Sherman said. “There will be multiple winners from the drawing. We want folks to walk away from this a winner.”

There is one small catch for the winners.

“We want these advertising dollars to be used to promote your event at least 50 miles away,” Sherman said. “Whether that be in Erie, New York state, Pittsburgh, wherever. We want to bring folks into the county, that’s the goal.”

Events must be present at the party to be eligible for the drawing.

Invites have been sent out for the event, but if an event that you are involved with would like to attend, the WCVB asks that you contact them by phone at 814-726-1222 or email at dave@wcvb.net.

The event will be catered. RSVPs are due by Friday, March 23.
