One guilty plea was entered and charges were withdrawn against four defendants during preliminary hearings held on Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.
Dustin M. Sudul, Warren, pled guilty to theft by unlawful taking – movable property. Charges of theft from a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property were withdrawn. At a second docket, charges including six counts of retail theft – alter label/pricing marking, two counts of conspiracy (retail theft – alter label/pricing marking) and retail theft – take merchandise were withdrawn. Two counts of retail theft-take merchandise were re-categorized as non-traffic offenses.
Charges were withdrawn against the following:
¯ John T. Goerlich, Warren. Goerlich had been charged with marijuana – small amount personal use.
¯ Keith D. Fedorchick, Warren. Fedorchick had been charged with simple assault. A count of disorderly conduct – engage in fighting was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.
¯ Joey L. Muzzy, Warren. Muzzy had been charged with harassment – communication repeatedly in another manner.
¯ Kaylee N. Smith, Sheffield. Smith had been charged with retail theft – take merchandise. A count of retail theft – take merchandise was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.
