Warren man locked up on drug charges

Suboxone and roxicodone sales to a confidential informant have landed a Warren man behind bars.

Christopher S. Madigan, 26, 109 Conewango Ave., was charged on Tuesday by Warren County Drug Task Force Agents with possession with three counts each of possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of a communications facility and possession of a controlled substance.

He was arraigned on Wednesday and placed in the Warren County Jail on $75,000 bail.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, Madigan is charged for his alleged involvement in controlled buys from a confidential informant on February 2 and 14 as well as March 13.

On February 2, the CI met Madigan at his residence and was observed entering and leaving the residence.

“The CI handed over four blue and white foil packages labeled ‘Suboxone 8mg/2mg.'”

The February 14 buy was for eight suboxone and also allegedly occurred at Madigan’s residence.

Once completed, “the CI handed over seven orange pills marked ‘AN 415’ and one blue and white foil package labeled ‘Suboxone 8mg/2mg.'”

The final buy occurred on March 13.

“The CI was to purchase twenty Roxy 30’s (roxicodone)… in exchange for $600,” the affidavit alleges. “The controlled purchase was to take place at the Rolling Express located in North Warren.”

The CI was observed allegedly entering Madigan’s vehicle, exiting the vehicle and returning to a pre-determined location where the CI “handed over a clear plastic baggy containing twenty light blue round pills.”

A preliminary hearing has been set for December 19 at 9 a.m. at the Warren County Courthouse.
