Tidioute man charged for telling children to punch him
A Tidioute man faces corruption of minors charges after he allegedly tried to get two children to punch him in the face.
Walter D. Lindsay, 41, faces two counts of corruption of minors, and three counts of harassment.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, Lindsay was “trying to teach” the children “self-defense and ordered them to punch him in the face,” at about 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6. Police did not identify the children, nor release their ages.
When the children refused, Lindsay pushed them, police said. When a woman stepped between Lindsay and the children, he put her in a “submission hold” with her hands behind her back, according to police.
Lindsay was arraigned before District Justice Todd Woodin and taken to Warren County jail after failing to post $5,000 bail.
