Three plead guilty at preliminary hearings
Three defendants pled guilty, charges were withdrawn against three others and one was held for court during preliminary hearings held on Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.
The following defendants pleaded guilty:
¯ Jessica Lynn Monstrom, St. Marys, Pa., to possession of a controlled substance. A count of criminal use of a communications facility was withdrawn.
¯ Travis A. Whipple, Kane, to possession of drug paraphernalia. A count of criminal use of a communications facility.
¯ Debra Sue Brewer, Warren, to possession of marijuana.
Charges were withdrawn against the following defendants:
¯ A charge of simple assault was withdrawn against Jamie Lynn Fitch, Youngsville. A count of harassment was recategorized as a non-traffic offense.
¯ Charges of possession of a controlled substance, marijuana – small amount personal use and possession of drug paraphernalia were withdrawn against Rachel Annemarie Corbett, Warren. A count of disorderly conduct was recategorized as a non-traffic offense.
¯ A count of simple assault was withdrawn against Christopher James Campbell, Sheffield. A count of harassment was recategorized as a non-traffic offense.
Matthew Curtis Charres, Warren, was held for court. Charres has been charged with DUI: General impairment/incapable of safe driving – first offense, DUI: Highest rate of alcohol – first offense, disregard traffic lane and careless driving.
