North Warren man faces indecent assault charges

A North Warren man faces indecent assault charges after allegedly fondling a 14-year-old-girl.

Trentin Rounds, 18, of 1476 Market St., is charged with three counts of indecent assault — without consent, and one count of corruption of minors.

According to Conewango Township Police, Rounds, the 14-year-old girl, and a 15-year-old boy spent a night in October at Rounds’ residence.

The alleged victim said all three slept in the same bed.

She told police she awoke to find Rounds’ hand touching her inside her clothes and that he continued to do so as she woke the 15-year-old “to make Trentin stop.”

She said they slept the rest of the night on the floor, “leaving Trentin alone in the bed,” police said.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, Rounds “put his head down and stated, ‘I’m disappointed in what I did,'” when police went to his residence on Nov. 15 to speak with him about the alleged incident.

When police asked if Rounds would go to the station for a formal interview he told them, “If I feel comfortable talking with you at some time, I will call you,” according to the affidavit.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 11 a.m. Jan. 3.
