One pleads guilty at prelims

One defendant pled guilty, 10 not guilty pleas were entered and four bench warrants were issued during arraignment proceedings before President Judge Maureen Skerda.

Noah Michael Vanhouten, Youngsville, pled guilty to corruption of minors. A count of sell/furnish liquor to a minor was not prosecuted.

The following defendants pled not guilty:

¯ Branden M. Busche, Warren. Busche has been charged with forgery, theft by deception – false impression and criminal use of a communications facility.

¯ Dustin L. Campbell, Warren. Campbell has been charged with two counts of simple assault, harassment, three counts of disorderly conduct, terroristic threats and strangulation – applying pressure to throat or neck.

¯ Halbert J. Dumas, Gray, Ga. Dumas has been charged with two counts of DUI: General impairment/incapable of safe driving – third offense, DUI: Highest rate of alcohol – third offense, driving without a license, careless driving and follow too closely.

¯ Christina A. Flasher, Warren. Flasher has been charged with DUI: General impairment/incapable of safe driving – first offense, DUI: Highest rate of alcohol – first offense and no rear lights.

¯ William K. Frederoski, Tiona. Frederoski has been charged with DUI: General impairment/incapable of safe driving – first offense, DUI: Highest rate of alcohol – first offense, disregard traffic lane and careless driving.

¯ Mark R. Matuziek, Tarentum, Pa. Matuziek has been charged with two counts of fraud to obtain foodstamps/assistance.

¯ Nathan Scott Nulph, Warren. Nulph has been charged with two counts of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, unauthorized use of motor vehicles and driving while operating privileges suspended or revoked.

¯ William Frank Smead, Jr., Sheffield. Smead has been charged with terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment.

¯ Sheila Kay Witz, Clarendon. Witz has been charged with DUI: General impairment/incapable of safe driving – first offense, DUI: High rate of alcohol – first offense, careless driving and period for requiring lighting lamps.

¯ Kyle James Zavinksi, Warren. Zavinski has been charged with possession with intent to deliver and corruption of minors.

Bench warrants for failure to appear were issued for the arrest of the following individuals:

¯ Tristen Lee Hartman, Waterford, Pa. Hartman has been charged with access device issues to another who did not authorize use, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.

¯ Dustin T. Hepler-Kostreba, Warren. Hepler-Kostreba has been charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.

¯ Wade E. Hetrick, Kane. Hetrick has been charged with two counts of criminal trespass – enter structure, two counts of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, conspiracy (possession with intent to deliver), criminal mischief – damage property, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and trespass by motor vehicle.

¯ Shawn Ryan Smith, Warren. Smith has been charged with retail theft – take merchandise.
