Two juveniles life-flighted after crash
Two juveniles were life-flighted to UPMC Hamot in Erie as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Thursday night in Pittsfield Township.
Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police responded to the scene on Andrews Run Road at approximately 6:40 p.m.
Police said that a known 17-year-old male, Sugar Grove, “was operating a motor vehicle traveling south on Andrews Run Road” when he “lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a left hand curve, causing the vehicle to strike an embankment and overturn.” As a result, “a juvenile male and juvenile female passenger who were seated in the back seat of the vehicle were air-lifted to Hamot Medical Center for treatment of unknown injuries,” according to police.
Police said the driver and a juvenile male sitting in the front passenger seat were transported by ambulance to Warren General Hospital.
“This crash remains under active investigation,” police explained.
