Traffic update: Hunter Station Bridge
The work on the Hunter Station Bridge replacement has reached the point of traffic changes.
On Wednesday, PennDOT issued a release urging motorists to be aware of new traffic patterns.
“Traffic will be restricted to one lane and controlled by temporary signals in the project area on Route 62 between the Venango/Forest County line and Hunter Station Road in Tionesta Township,” PennDOT’s Jim Carroll said Wednesday.
Work on the project began in September and is expected to be completed by the end of March.
“PennDOT urges motorists to slow down when driving in work zones, and to be alert to changing conditions, avoid distractions and to pay attention to signs and flaggers,” Carroll said. “Drive responsibly in work zones for your safety and the safety of the workers.”
