So what does all of this mean for Warren County?
Maps included in the design guide outline each of the recommendations along the corridor.
Starting at the western Warren County line, shoulder widening and numerous instances of guide tail modifications are recommended.
Sharrows starting at Thatcher Lane and ‘bike may use full lane’ signs are proposed in Youngsville, where the route takes W. Main St. to E. Main St. heading out of the borough on National Forge Road. Guide rail modifications and widened shoulders are proposed for that road.
Rumble strip reconfiguration is included from the intersection of Rt. 6 and 62 to Yankee Bush Road.
In Warren, road narrow signs are proposed for the Ludlow St. exit as well as ‘bike may use full lane’ signage.
The route exits onto Ludlow St. and follows Pennsylvania Ave. all the way to the Glade Bridge. Sharrows are proposed for that stretch.
Sharrows and ‘bike may use full lane’ signs were suggested in Clarendon and shoulder repairs were proposed between there and Sheffield.
Widened shoulders and guiderail modifications were proposed from Sheffield to the McKean County line.
