MS support group to meet
The Warren Multiple Sclerosis Support group will be meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, at the Warren Public Library on the third floor in the Slater Room. March is MS Awareness Month so we are asking anyone attending the meeting to wear orange if they have it. The meeting is for anyone any one affected by MS, their family, friends and anyone interested in learning more about Multiple Sclerosis is invited to attend. Also, as always there in not a charge for anyone to attend. The library is handicap accessible from the rear of the building by parking in the midtown lot. There is an elevator to the third floor. If anyone needs more information they can contact the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at 1-800-344-4867. Light refreshments will be available but everyone is asked to bring their own beverage of choice if they choose.
Habitat for Humanity of Warren County’s ReStore is operating from the basement of Warren Antiques & Giftware, located at 306 Second Avenue in Warren. The store is open for donations and purchases Monday through Saturday, 10am to 6 p.m. Donating large items such as appliances and furniture should be prearranged with Habitat for Humanity; other home improvement items may be donated during normal business hours. Tuesday afternoon at the Allegheny Community Center, Connie Michell was first and Diane Callahan came in second. At the Woman’s Club Thursday afternoon, Rosemary Hanson placed first, followed by Connie Michell. Donna Kay Holding and Lynda McCollough were first and second Thursday evening at the library.

Quilters Night Out
There will be a Quilt Guild meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 306 Conewango Avenue. The program for March will be Nancy Dobson. She grew up in Warren and has lived in Wyoming, Alaska, and now calls Colorado home. Nancy is a textile artist and quilter. Her art quilts are richly influenced by the beautiful scenery she has been surrounded by through out her life. You will enjoy her talk and be inspired by her work. New members welcome.
Sugar Grove Free Library will host a St. Patrick’s Day Story Hour for children on March 17 at 11 a.m. and a Family Movie Night Monday, March 19, at 5 p.m. Pizza and drinks will be provided. RSVP to the library at 489-7872 or on Facebook.
