Warren County Democrats to meet

The Warren County Democrats will hold their monthly meeting this Thursday, Feb. 15 at the Warren County Library in the Jefferson Room at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome.

Pierogi sales

St. John Church in Tidioute will be selling frozen pierogis as a fundraiser during Lent this year every Saturday from February 17 through March 24, from 1 to 4 p.m. in St. John Center.

The ladies will be making potato and cheese as well as potato and sauerkraut pierogis.

Pre-order each week by Thursday to guarantee availability.

Walk-ins are also welcome.

Holiday closing

Experience, Inc., your local Agency on Aging and all senior centers in Warren and Forest counties, will be closed on Monday, Feb. 19, in observance of the holiday.

Pancake supper

A pancake supper will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at First Lutheran Church on Third and East in Warren. A donation is by free will offering. The dinner will benefit seminary students.

Ballet registration

The Chautauqua Regional Youth Ballet is accepting registrations for 4-6-year-old boys and girls. Classes meet once a week on Saturday mornings. Students enrolling by March 1 will be able to perform in the CRYB Spring Gala at Chautauqua Institution in June.

The Warren High School Class of 1957 will have a luncheon at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, at Christie’s Pub and Grille.

Bridge results

Tuesday afternoon at the Allegheny Community Center, Bill Massa placed first with Donna Hickey in second. At the Woman’s Club Thursday afternoon, Tana Fegely and Connie Michell were first and second. Lynda McCollough came in first and Donna Holding was second Thursday evening at the library.
