Class breakfast

The Youngsville High School class of 1954 will meet for breakfast at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, at Richard’s Restaurant.

Class to lunch

The Warren High School class of 1956 will meet for lunch at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 16, at Applebees.

Swiss Steak Dinner

A Swiss Steak Dinner fundraiser will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. (or until gone) on Saturday, Jan. 13, at Russell United Methodist Church, 17 N. Main Street. Steak, two sides, jello salad, rolls, and dessert will be served (eat in or carry out). A minimum donation of $9 is requested.

Monday Night Movies

Monday Night Movies at the Warren Public Library will continue on January 15. This event is free of charge and begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Slater Room on the third floor of the library. Complimentary popcorn will be available. This week’s PG-rated, 108-minute-long film stars John Corbett. The movie is based on an inspiring true story about a pastor who tries to save his church by farming its land. Call the library at 723-4650 for the exact title of this and other movies in this series as the library’s movie license does not permit listing the titles of movies outside the library.

Courthouse closing

The Warren County Courthouse will be closed Monday, Jan. 15, for Martin Luther King Day.
