ReStore donations

Habitat for Humanity of Warren County’s ReStore is operating from the basement of Warren Antiques & Giftware, located at 306 Second Avenue in Warren. The store is open for donations and purchases Monday through Saturday, 10am to 6pm. Donating large items such as appliances and furniture should be prearranged with Habitat for Humanity; other home improvement items may be donated during normal business hours. Outdoor Club

On Sunday, Oct. 29, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike the trails near Sprague’s Restaurant in Portville, N.Y. Participants will meet at Sprague’s parking lot at 2 p.m. After the hike we will eat dinner and Pumpkin Gobs at Sprague’s. Community dinner

Youngsville Free Methodist Church, 179 Davis Street, will hold its free community dinner from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesdays from at the JoyFull Cafe. On Oct. 25, the menu is breakfast for dinner; serving sausage gravy & biscuits, scrambled eggs and homefries.

Youth breakfast

The weekly youth breakfast at Evangelical United Methodist Church, 18 Second Street, Youngsville, for youth in grades 6 to12 is every Wednesday beginning at 7:15 a.m. Food is served at 7:30 a.m. and everyone dismissed around 7:45 a.m. so they can get to school by 8 a.m. No transportation is provided, but it is easy walk from church to school.

Bridge results

Tuesday afternoon at the Allegheny Community Center, Connie Michell came in first with Peggy Morgan second. At the Woman’s Club Thursday afternoon, Connie Michell and Susan Swab were first and second. Thursday evening at the library, Rita Mancuso was first followed by Susie Spangler in second.

Santa workshop

St. Titus Church will hold its 43rd Annual Santa’s Workshop on November 10 and 11 at Cross Creek Resort in Titusville, Pa. A variety of vendors will offer handmade arts & crafts and unique gift items to meet all of your Christmas wish list needs. To celebrate the holiday season, Santa’s Workshop will again be adorned with decorated trees sponsored by local businesses. Santa will be visiting on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m.Santa’s Cafe will be serving delicious signature soups, sandwiches, and desserts. Also offered will be a basket raffle with a variety of themed baskets, a money raffle, as well as a silent auction, which includes samplings from the workshop’s vendors. Santa’s Workshop will be open Friday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and admission is always free. All proceeds benefit the Faith Formation Program of Saint Titus.
