Christian Women to meet

The Warren Christian Women invites you to our “Autumn” Luncheon on Tuesday, Oct. 10 from noon to 2 p.m. at the Allegheny Community Center, 42 Clark Street, in Warren. The luncheon is $9 and includes lunch and a speaker. Various baskets will be raffled off with money donated to Village Missions. The speaker this month will be Tim Griffith of Village Missions telling about the goals of Village Mission Ministry. Class to lunch

The Warren High School class of 1955 will meet for lunch at 12:30 p.m. at The Still House on Wednesday, Oct. 11.

Newton Dinner Club

The Newton Dinner Club will meet at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, at the Pitt Campus cafeteria in Titusville. Members are asked to bring a donation for the Food Bank.

Gospel meeting

The Warren Church of Christ, Scandia Road, will hold a gospel meeting Oct. 15-8 featuring guest speaker Gilbert Gough, preacher at Mount Zion Church of Christ, Savannah, Tenn. The schedule for Sunday starts with Bible class at 9:30 a.m., morning worship at 10:30 a.m.; and afternoon worship at 1:30 p.m. Services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. Everyone is welcome.

Class dinner

Class breakfast

The Youngsville Class of 1961 will meet for its monthly breakfast get-together on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at 9 a.m. at Richard’s Restaurant in Youngsville. Come to see and visit with folks you haven’t seen in a while and share some news. Guests are always welcome.

PARSE meeting

The Barton-Schuler Chapter of the Pennsylvania Association of Retired State Employees or PARSE will meet on Thursday, Oct. 12, at 11:30 a.m. at Perkins Restaurant on Ludlow Street in Warren. Lunch will follow for networking and socialization. Nomination of officers for the next term will occur at this meeting with election of officers in November. You can help your chapter by stepping up to take a position in order to maintain its viability and function. Hope to see you on Thursday
