Dogs Run at Large. Justin Akers, 21, of Warren, and Stephanie Akers, 44, of Sheffield, were both cited for unlawful to allow dogs to run at large on Saturday, May 18, after their three dogs were running loose and became aggressive towards citizens.
Theft. A 17-year-old juvenile was charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property on Wednesday, May 29, following an investigation into a stolen bicycle.
Aggravated Assault. Cory Garris, 28, of Warren, was charged with aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment on Thursday, May 30, after officers responded to a report of an assault.
Bad Checks. Matthew Wertz, 36, of Warren, was cited for bad checks on Monday, June 3, after two checks in the amount of $193.98 were returned for non-sufficient funds to a local grocer.
Public Drunkenness. Cristal Pollard, 39, of Jamestown, N.Y., was cited for public drunkenness on Friday, June 7, after officers responded to a report of an intoxicated female.
Possession: Michael S. Britton, 30, of Youngsville, was allegedly in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on May 25 when Youngsville Police came in contact with him as a passenger of a motor vehicle stopped for a traffic violation. Charges have been filed with District Judge Todd Woodin’s Office.
