Jamestown police still looking for one person allegedly involved in shooting in Meadville

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — Jamestown police have found one of the two Jamestown residents suspected of a shooting in Meadville.

Michelle Rosario, 40, was taken into custody by police Thursday following a traffic stop in Jamestown. It was determined that she was wanted in Meadville in connection with the shooting, so she was held as a fugitive from justice to face extradition later.

Authorities are still actively looking for Anthonie Sugden 22, for his role in the same incident. Anyone who may know the whereabouts of Sugden is asked to contact the Jamestown Police or the Meadville police.

The Meadville Tribune reported Thursday that Sudgen was considered to be “armed and dangerous. The Meadville Police Department issued a be-on-the-lookout advisory for the pair after a shooting that took place at about 8 a.m. at 135 Lincoln Ave. in Meadville. According to the Meadville Tribune, when police arrived on scene a male victim was located inside a home with a suspected gunshot wound. The victim remained in critical condition, the Meadville newspaper reported.

In March, Jamestown police took Anthonie Sugden into custody following a traffic stop in the 400 block of Winsor Street. Anthonie Sugden was a passenger in the vehicle and reportedly gave officers a fake name and date of birth to allegedly hide an order of protection as well as for being wanted on domestic-related charges in Jamestown.
