One defendant pleads guilty

One defendant pled guilty, charges were withdrawn against four, and one person was held for court during preliminary hearings held on Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.

Donald D. Cressley, Sheffield, pled guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a vehicle without a valid inspection. Charges of marijuana – small amount personal use or required financial responsibility were withdrawn.

Charges were withdrawn against the following:

¯ A count of marijuana – small amount of personal use was withdrawn against Chaelynn Claire Highhouse, Warren. A count of disorderly conduct was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

¯ Charges of simple assault and unlawful restraint – serious bodily injury were withdrawn against Zane C. Finefrock, Grand Valley.

¯ Charges of criminal attempt – simple assault and recklessly endangering another person were withdrawn against Jerry L. Huntington, Jr., Grand Valley. A count of harassment – subject other to physical contact was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

¯ Charges of simple assault and recklessly endangering another person were withdrawn against Michael D. Miranda, Warren. A count of harassment was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

Cole M. Rieder, Warren, was held for court on charges of simple assault, harassment – subject other to physical contact and terroristic threats.
