Farmington Twp.

Harassment. Warren-based state police responded to a report of domestic abuse on Dec. 7 at a Wilson Rd. residence. The investigation revealed that Shawn Moore, 28, and Bridget Putman, 25, had subjected one another to physical contact. Police said both were cited for summary harassment through District Judge Laura Bauer’s office.

Mead Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Rt. 6 north of Mead Blvd. on Dec. 13 at 7:32 p.m. A 2001 Ford Explorer, driven by Leroy T. Winslow, 36, Sheffield, slid into the oncoming lane and struck a 2011 Subaru Legacy, driven by Ricky D. Ackley, 59, Warren. Police said that Winslow was extricated from the vehicle and transported to Warren General Hospital. A passenger in Winslow’s vehicle, 36-year-old John S. Brown, Sheffield, was also transported to WGH. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Sugar Grove

Theft. Warren-based state police reported that on Dec. 10 someone stole a 16 gauge Ithaca Featherweight shotgun from the Patchen Hill Road residence of Grover McMillen, Jr. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Watson Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Dec. 12 at 6:45 a.m. A 1983 Ford F250, driven by Michael W. Crone, 24, Warren, was traveling north on Rt. 337 and Crobe allegedly lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a right-hand curve. The vehicle spun clockwise and traveled off the berm. The driver side of the vehicle made initial impact with the ditch and then rolled onto its roof. According to police, Crone was not injured.

Youngsville

DUI. Youngsville police reported that they observed Daria L. Wenzel, 50, Youngsville, allegedly driving in an erratic manner and stopped Wenzel’s vehicle at the borough line on Indian Camp Rd. on Dec. 3 at 6:35 p.m. Police said charges will be filed with District Justice Todd Woodin and that Wenzel was released into the custody of Warren County Adult Probation and committed to the Warren County Jail in lieu of bail.
