Limestone Twp.

Harassment. According to Warren-based state police, on Thursday, Feb. 23, at approximately 11:58 a.m., Jesse Lee Peterson, 24, of Warren, grabbed a 34-year-old female’s pocket and tried to grab a cigarette out of it. Peterson then grabbed the female’s arm, according to police, and threw her to the floor. The female sustained minor cuts to her shin as a result of the incident, police said, and charges of harassment will be filed through District Justice Todd Woodin’s office.

Pittsfield Twp.

Crash. According to Warren-based state police, on Wednesday, Feb. 22, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Dale Chase, 58, of Pittsfield, was traveling west on Route 27 approximately one-tenth of a mile west of Hickory Lane when he lost control of his 2006 Ford F150 and it traveled off the north edge of the roadway. Police said Chase’s vehicle traveled up an embankment and across the eastbound lane, hitting a guide rail head on. Chase, police said, then fled the scene and was later interviewed. Chase was not injured as a result of the crash, but police said he was charged with careless driving, accidents involving damage to unattended vehicle or property, and driving on roadways laned for traffic, filed though District Justice Todd Woodin’s office.

Spring Creek Twp.

Burglary. According to Warren-based state police, sometime between Dec. 21 and Feb. 23, someone stole a riding lawn mower and four generators from the residence of Sharon Ann Mickle on Collins Road in Spring Creek. The investigation is ongoing, and police said that anyone with information should contact Pennsylvania State Police in Warren.

Sugar Grove

Criminal Mischief. According to Warren-based state police, sometime beween Feb. 1 and Feb. 23, someone vandalized a scrap vehicle at the residence of Ernest Vernon Vanhouten on Yankee Bush Road in Sugar Grove. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police in Warren or Warren County Crime Stoppers. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
