Briefs…

Times Observer photo by Lorri Drumm An observation beehive caught the attention of many people meandering about the Farmers Market downtown Warren on Saturday. Henry Landers, 3, could hardly “beelieve” how many bees were hard at work in the hive. He seemed a bit “beewitched” as he put his hands, and even his face, right up against the display.

Bridge results

Tuesday afternoon at the Allegheny Community Center, Audrey Cable was first and Marjorie Polito was second. At the Woman’s Club Thursday afternoon, Connie Lucia and Laurie Curren were first and second. Connie Michell placed first Thursday evening at the library with Marjorie Polito in second.
