Partners in the Arts looking for county art partners

Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts is looking to fund art in Warren County.

Erie Arts and Culture will hold a workshop for PPA Stream Grants at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 16, at the Allegheny Center for the Arts office at Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church, Pennsylvania Ave. W., Warren.

“The PPA program provides opportunities for arts organizations, individual artists, and community-based groups to apply for up to $2,500 in funding to support performances, exhibitions, and other arts projects that are presented to the public and take place between Sept. 1, 2019, and Aug. 31, 2020,” according to a release from Erie Arts and Culture, which administers the program for Crawford, Erie, Mercer, Venango, and Warren counties. “Grant applications are due June 20, 2019.”

“This meeting is for any arts/culture groups or organizations to find out about possible grants and how to apply,” Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Member Judge William Morgan said.

Applications must be submitted electronically at www.esa.dced.state.pa.us/.

The sessions are free and open to any interested artist or artist group.

They are designed to provide detailed information about the program and guide potential candidates through the application process. Dinner will be provided.
