Feb. 16: Valentines and Red Balloons, 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., Warren Public Library, Slater Room, 3rd floor. Stories, a classic 30-minute movie about a red balloon and strawberry cupcakes, followed by crafts and play with STEM toys in the Children’s Department. Feb. 19, 26; March 5, 12, 19, 26; April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30: Build-It-Up, Take-It-Down: Warren Public Library Children’s Department, Tuesdays, 3 to 5 p.m. Children of all ages learn STEM skills through play with large wooden blocks, LEGO, Bee-Bot coding robots, Bloco Robots and other toys that enhance the experience.

Feb. 20: A Cat And A Hat, 10:15 to 11 a.m., Warren Public Library, Slater Room, 3rd floor. Cris Johnson returns to Warren with a program centered around the wacky characters and plots of many Dr. Seuss books. This interactive, hilarious theatrical experience will have children and adults laughing, clapping and cheering. Preregistration appreciated.
