The Second Harvest Food Bank will bring its Military Share program back to Warren on Wednesday.

The food bank will be at the Warren County Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) at the Farm Colony at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27. They will provide “free fresh produce and other grocery products.”

Military personnel — reservists, National Guard, activy duty, or veterans of any branch — and their families who qualify on the basis of income are asked to pre-register by contacting Cindy Plymyer at Second Harvest — (814) 459-3663 ext. 103.

“The program here has been a great success,” Warren County Veterans Affairs Director Ed Burris said. “Warren was one of the first CBOC’s to receive the second Harvest Food Bank delivery.”

“We have many Veterans and their families that this has made such a great impact on,” Burris said. “The Veterans community supports this program so well with all the volunteers that show up to help distribute. I encourage any veteran that qualifies to get registered for this program.
